The Seniors' Section at Glossop Golf Club is a thriving section within the club that provides opportunities for a wide variety of competitive and fun golf which is very friendly and sociable. The Section is aimed at members who are aged 55 and over, usually retired or working part time, but all members are welcomed.


Senior Roll-up
The Senior Section meet every Tuesday and Thursday morning. Tees are booked from 9.15am to 10.45am. In summer we play 18 holes and through the winter months 13holes.
If you would like to play, you have to inform the Senior Organiser/Secretary by 5pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. A draw is made for teetimes and partners. Everyone is then emailed with their draw and teetime.
Although it is mainly seniors who play, all members can play, just simply let the Organiser know.
Through the summer we also play some competitions for handicap purposes. We also offer members to submit playing cards via the roll-up for handicap.

Senior League Team and matches.

The Senior Section is also a member of the Manchester and District Seniors League. Throughout the summer, we play other Golf Clubs in an organised league. All members are eligible to add their name for selection
